These

effectiveness of your sleep study. All of our sleep rooms are networked
together into a single hub, allowing our technologists to monitor your
sleep study at any time.
Leading-edge diagnostic equipment.
Here
at Complete Sleep Solutions, we use the very latest diagnostic
equipment to help provide you with an accurate and highly detailed
sleep study. Some of the leading-edge diagnostic capabilities available
at both of our centers include:
- State-of-the-art digital diagnostic equipment to ensure an accurate diagnosis of your condition.
- Full-night digital video recording to help correlate sleep behavior with a possible sleep problem, such as night-terrors and sleepwalking.
- Complete polysomnographic study (PSG)
to evaluate brain, eye and muscle movement, blood levels of oxygen,
heart rate and rhythm, breathing effort, airflow through the mouth and
nasal passages, snoring and chest and abdominal movement. A split-night
PSG study is conducted when moderate or severe sleep apnea has been
discovered or suspected during the first part of the night’s study.
During the second half of the night, we monitor your sleep while you
wear a special device that helps you breathe easier.
- Multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) to help diagnose narcolepsy and chronic fatigue, among others.
Taking a leading role in sleep medicine research.
Complete
Sleep Solutions is actively involved in leading-edge research that will
improve sleep medicine — and patient care — for years to come. Since
1994, we’ve been the sleep center of choice for numerous studies for
pharmaceutical companies and sleep device manufacturers. One of our
more recent clinical studies was for the Apnea Risk Evaluation System™
(ARES). The ARES is an FDA-approved at-home test that measures
blood-oxygen level, pulse rate, snoring, nasal pressure and head
position/movement during sleep. This data is used in conjunction with a
patient’s health history and questionnaire to evaluate risk factors for
sleep apnea. We were the first sleep center on the West Coast to offer
the ARES at-home test for patients.
Top-quality sleep equipment.
Complete
Sleep Solutions works closely with several Durable Medical Equipment
companies (DMEs) that offer the highest-quality sleep equipment,
including CPAP devices, masks and humidifiers. This sleep equipment
offers superior design and technology to help ensure maximum
therapeutic benefit. Of course, this also means increased patient
compliance, and we’re proud to say that ours is higher than the
national average. Finally, should you ever have questions about your
sleep equipment, simply give us a call. We believe strongly in patient
education and follow-up and will always make ourselves available to
you. |
