Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Kocar grew up in the San Fernando Valley and pursued his undergraduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at California State University, Northridge. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Touro University Nevada in Henderson. Wanting to be closer to home, he returned to complete his residency training in Family Medicine at Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium in Temecula, CA.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Kocar spending time with his family, traveling, or tinkering in the garage with cars - one of his favorite hobbies.
