Introduction :

Talha Memon, MD, is a board-certified Sleep Medicine and Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in clinical sleep medicine, physician education, and graduate medical education leadership. He has served as Medical Director of Complete Sleep Solutions since 2018 and is the founding Program Director of the ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium, a role he has held since 2022.

Dr. Memon specializes in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in adults and children, including obstructive and central sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy and other hypersomnolence disorders, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, and complex sleep-related breathing disorders. His approach emphasizes evidence-based medicine, individualized treatment, and long-term patient education.

Clinical & Academic Leadership

As Medical Director of Complete Sleep Solutions, Dr. Memon leads the clinical, operational, and strategic development of an AASM-accredited sleep center serving adult and pediatric patients. His work includes comprehensive sleep medicine care and interpretation of polysomnography, home sleep apnea testing, multiple sleep latency testing, and PAP titration studies, along with oversight of quality improvement, accreditation, and continued growth of sleep medicine services.

In 2022, Dr. Memon founded the Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium and led the program from its initial development through ACGME accreditation. As Program Director, he oversees fellow education, curriculum development, clinical training, faculty development, recruitment, scholarly activity, and ongoing accreditation. He also serves as clinical faculty for multiple residency and fellowship programs in Southern California.

Education, Research & National Engagement

Education is a major focus of Dr. Memon's career. He is the founder and director of the Annual Sleep Medicine Symposium, a regional continuing medical education program bringing together physicians, trainees, and nationally recognized educators in sleep medicine. Recent programs have included faculty from the University of Michigan, UCLA, UC San Diego, Stanford University, and Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Memon has authored peer-reviewed publications and research abstracts in sleep medicine, with work presented at the annual SLEEP meeting. His academic interests include sleep-disordered breathing, hypersomnolence disorders, sleep medicine education, and the clinical and operational delivery of sleep medicine.

He is also an invited lecturer and has presented on sleep medicine and the business of sleep medicine at institutions including the University of Michigan and Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Memon serves on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Coding and Reimbursement Advisory Committee and on the Riverside County Medical Association Board of Councilors. He remains actively involved in advancing sleep medicine through clinical care, physician education, research mentorship, and graduate medical education.

Education & Training

Dr. Memon completed his Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System and his Family Medicine residency at the University of California, Riverside. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
